Job Description
The Planner, Search & Social is responsible for managing the day-to-day stewardship of paid search and social campaigns towards stated objectives and is responsible for the accuracy of these accounts. The Planner will be accountable to onboard and manager search and socials campaign work with client stakeholders across multiple platforms and channels.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT
- Manages and monitors client P&L’s for assigned accounts
- Implement search and social campaigns and manage regular campaign reporting
- Interfaces with other department to share ideas, communicate service offerings, and to deliver new solutions for clients
- Keeps Supervisors apprised of key client opportunities, potential risks and other key nuances which affect the health of the day-to-day campaign performance
PERFORMANCE MEDIA
- Helps to foster key internal team relationships.
- Demonstrates an understanding of each client’s goals, markets, needs and expectations
- Works within client relationships to champion initiatives that drive marketing decisions across search and social channels
- Attends internal meetings and client calls on ongoing basis, interface as needed with agency management team on development of client presentations
- Independently works on assigned campaigns
- Helps to identify client challenges and uses conflict management skills within a professional environment
- Builds out paid search and social campaigns with an eye on the following disciplines: segmentation, attitudinal/motivational analysis, concept/copy testing, sales forecasting, response prediction, advertising effectiveness, consumer profiling, customer profitability analysis (lifetime value), media mix modelling, conversion attribution analysis and ROI measurement
- Leverages search and social platforms to benchmark trends and/or campaign performance
TEAM DEVELOPMENT
- Embraces and encourages a culture based on team work, collaboration, and intellectual curiosity
- Works collaboratively to drive programs that meet our clients’ campaign objectives
- Contributes to the adoption of paid search and social best practices through example setting, positive reinforcement and behavioral correction
- Provides cross media planning training for identified team members
PROCESS IMPROVEMENT
- Enacts best practices to ensure operational efficiencies within the team
