    Job Description

    The Campaign Manager, Precision Social is responsible for the design, execution, and implementation of paid media strategies on social networks. This person will work closely with the communications planning and client marketing teams to translate high-level marketing goals and media objectives into impactful paid media campaigns on social networks. This individual reports into the Associate Director, Precision Social. 

    ROLE OBJECTIVES: 

    • Design strategies for leveraging paid media across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat and/or LinkedIn to deliver against brand objectives 
    • Develop action plans for achieving and measuring  paid social success, including setting key metrics, measurement and optimization strategies
    • Advocate the value of social media and help educate partners and internal teams on the latest developments and capabilities in this quickly evolving media channel
    • Oversee RFP process, from initial publisher distribution, to gathering and  processing insertion orders, and maintaining records of all campaign activities for auditing purposes
    • Utilize appropriate planning and buying tools to achieve optimum performance for social media campaigns; maintain knowledge of new and emerging technologies to continually enhance campaign execution
    • Develop client-facing POVs on industry trends and patterns
    • Develop points of view on new technologies, trends and opportunities in the social media marketplace
    • Manage and deliver budget as authorized,  implement budget bidding strategies as appropriate to deliver against campaign KPIs
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • BA or BS in Marketing, Advertising or Related Field 
    • 2+ years hands on keyboard experience working with Facebook & Twitter ads platforms managing and optimizing buys 
    • Experience in applying social marketing to brand-building & direct response initiatives
    • Understanding of best practices for leveraging social media for brand communication
    • Comprehensive knowledge of best practices for managing and optimizing API/self-serve buys on Facebook/Instagram, Twitter, and Snapchat
    • Understanding of the Facebook PMD landscape and deep experience with at least one Ads PMD-certified technology
    • Strong quantitative skills, including analytical abilities and math proficiency
    • Collaborative approach/attitude
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to prioritize and organize issues/projects  
    • Excellent understanding of paid social media fundamentals
    • Strong presentation, negotiation, verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills
    • Effective time management and organizational skills
