Located in the Green Mountains of southern Vermont, The Vermont Country Store, a family owned multi-channel business, has been successfully operating for 75 years. WE ARE CURRENTLY SEEKING A FULL TIME FRONT END DEVELOPER TO WORK AS A MEMBER OF OUR DIGITAL TEAM. Do you want to build and optimize new web features on a site that is visited by millions of customers annually? Are you interested in working in a growing and exciting e-commerce environment? This role is an opportunity to use a wide variety of both design and technical web skills to produce functional and visual changes to our e-commerce site to increase our customer loyalty and conversion. Contribute to developing and improving the user experience on our e-commerce site including:
Write requirements and proposals for site enhancements?
Visualize using wireframing, sketching and style guide?
Work with designers, developers, and other users to design, develop, test, implement and document website functionality changes?
REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's degree in UX Development, Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 1-3 years of front-end development experience
• Ability to communicate effectively, exhibit judgment and deal constructively with staff and managers
