    Job Description

    The VP, Retail Media Partnerships will sit within the centralized PMX Global Partnerships team with a strong dotted line into the head of Commerce Media, who sits within the PMX Commerce Practice.

     

    The established Global Partnerships capability supports all PMX practices, and is responsible for partnering with global leadership across Publicis Groupe to identify needs and opportunities for strategic joint business partnerships across all types of media – both established and emerging. The head of Retail Media Partnerships will continue this role specific to the Retail Media and Commerce marketplace.

     

    Regarding the Commerce Practice, Publicis is an industry leader with an unparalleled breadth and depth of offerings spanning products and services across media, data, and technology, and has continued to invest heavily in building and acquiring assets to fuel growth. This retail media practice builds on the foundation of Epsilon’s identity and technology capabilities, Publicis Media’s services and scale, CitrusAd’s retail media platform, and Profitero’s data and intelligence to create a differentiated value proposition for brands. 

     

    ROLE OBJECTIVES

    • Lead strategic vision between the Commerce practice and PMX Partnerships, developing joint business plans inclusive of product development, internal stakeholder business needs, and success metrics
    • Align with senior agency leadership on partner needs inclusive of: media investment, marketing technology, and product development
    • Pinpoint and influence a cross-functional center of excellence to influence and accelerate decision making
    • Maintain, scale and enhance infrastructure, methods, processes, templates, and tools to drive consistency in benefits and product adoption across Commerce Partnerships
    • Serve as primary lead with senior executives across partners to bring the best value and solution to our clients – understand demands, gather insights and translate these needs into a cohesive go-to-market approach
    • Proactively identify partner product solutions and integrations with revenue upside across Commerce Partnerships
    • Drive development of use cases and best practices to position Publicis Groupe as best-in-class with clients and the marketplace
    • Manage team of partner leads to ensure consistenty in partner management and process, cross-share of knowledge

    EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES

    • 12+ years of experience in advertising and marketing
    • Extensive knowledge of marketing technology landscape including key players and applications
    • Critical thinker with skill to identify and leverage resources from across teams effectively
    • Uses considerable judgment to determine solutions, seeks guidance on complex problems
    • Excellent project management and verbal and written communication skills
    • Detail-oriented with ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
    • Strong executive presence and excellent stakeholder management abilities
    • Confident, articulate, and enthusiast in delivering content and advocating a point of view
    • Flexible with ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where things are not always black and white
    • Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills, as well as familiarity with Microsoft collaboration tools, such as Microsoft Teams, etc.

    Additional Information

    Compensation Range: $143,000 - $225,000 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
