    Job Description

    An exciting opportunity exists for a Benefits Associate to join our Benefits Shared Service Team in New York City. You will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day administration of employee leaves, and the company benefit plans to include, but not limited to: resolving general Health and Welfare and 401(k)/Pension plan inquiries. You will provide excellent customer service to our US based Publicis Groupe employees and HR teams.

    ** Essential Duties and Responsibilities**

    • Provide support on Benefits Administration (Health & Welfare, 401K, a grand-fathered frozen pension plan, and voluntary benefits) for benefits eligible employees within the US.
    • Provide instruction to employee/HR regarding the online employee Benefits self-service system.
    • Provide customer support on questions/inquiries from employees /HR teams, as well as working with Payroll to manage LOA’s and resolve any issues.
    • Assist with open enrollment, benefits meetings/presentations, travel when needed.
    • Responsible for managing LOA administration to support specific Brands/Agencies ensuring LOA’s are entered timely and accurately into the Global HRIS database.
    • Liaison with the applicable insurance carriers to resolve employee/dependent issues/claims or to execute a haste enrollment.
    • Keep abreast of new or updated benefit rules and regulations.
    • Responsible for HIPAA compliance.
    • Handle special projects as assigned.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree
    • 1-2 years’ experience working within a Benefits/HR capacity.
    • Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting.
    • Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
    • Motivated to learn and grow within the field.
