    Job Description As a Scrum Master / Project Manager you will lead one or more Scrum teams or manage medium to large technology projects across multiple cross-functional teams, for the Global Digital Distribution portfolio of Technology projects (includes Distribution, Marketing, Data and Client Communications platforms). You will be responsible for ensuring Scrum Teams / Project Teams are high performing with respect to the selected execution methodology (Agile/Scrum, waterfall or other iterative methodologies). You will own all aspects of the project definition process including facilitating and capturing the business and technology inputs to develop business cases, reviewing with stakeholders, shepherding through the enterprise governance process, and selecting the execution methodology. You will also be called upon to be an active contributor in driving adoption and continuous improvement of Agile/Scrum across the organization. Key Responsibilities / Duties:

    • Lead day to day execution of one or more scrum teams or project teams

    • Facilitate release and sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, driving continuous improvement and effective stakeholder engagement

    • Assist development team and Product Owner to refine product functionality and product back log, proposing possible approaches or solutions to accelerate delivery and/or ensure product continues to meet business case objectives

    • Identify and remove impediments (risks and issues) impacting release and program level teams

    • Communicate progress as required (weekly / monthly status reporting and other enterprise governance exercises / checkpoints), raising risks and issues to Product Owner and other key stakeholders

    • Coordinate UAT testing with end users

    • Collaborate with other Scrum Masters, Program Managers, Project Managers and Domain Managers across the enterprise to adopt, standardize and document delivery best practices Competencies for Success:

    • The ideal candidate should have 3+ years of Agile Scrum Master experience as well as broader project management experience in more traditional methodologies

    • Strong team leadership skills, driving effective team operating models and improving team maturity levels in understanding process and increasing productivity via influence rather than direct authority

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills including executive stakeholder management

    • Consulting experience highly preferred

    • Experience working with globally distributed teams highly preferred

    • Experience with the Financial Services/Asset Management is highly desirable

    • Ability to interpret burn down charts, burn up charts, SCRUM & Kanban boards to know the teams progress

    • Good exposure to sizing techniques used in agile process

    • Exposure using Agile Life Cycle Management tools including JIRA or Rally

    • Familiar with knowledge management tools such as Sharepoint, Confluence etc.

    • Scrum Master and Scaled Agile Framework certifications are a plus

    *Any prior experience with Marketing or Sales technologies (Seismic, Adobe, Salesforce etc.) are a plus
