Job Description
Your Impact: • Support the overall communications mission of a large NIH institute, playing a key role in the execution of content strategy. • Working closely with Publicis Sapient content strategists, experience designs, and federal staff to prepare and publish digital content for the benefit of public health • Identifying pain points in the content lifecycle and enacting change to increase impact, reach, and volume
Qualifications
Your Skills & Experience: • Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Legal Permanent Resident • Eligible for U.S. Government Clearance – public trust • 3-5 years of relevant work experience • Experience with public-facing websites, using content management systems, and performing quality, link, and metadata checks prior to publishing • Experience with content formatting including content layout, style, and font treatments • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail • Ability to plan and manage time and resources, establish priorities and meet goals. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Flexible, collaborative, and able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously to maintain content publishing velocity • Experience reporting on project status, including actions completed, actions planned, and risk

Set Yourself Apart With: • Proficiency in web page design, HTML, CSS, content strategy, search engine optimization or content development lifecycles • Proficiency with federal government websites and federal digital requirements, including Accessibility and Section 508 compliance • Proficiency with content publishing for social and email marketing channels • Experience as a content editor, proofreading for grammar and clarity and using an editorial calendar to ensure delivery against schedules • Proficiency with collaboration tools including Atlassian Jira and Confluence • Scrum, Product, SaFe, or project management or technology certifications • Bachelor’s Degree from college or University
