Job Description

Publicis Sapient is looking for a Finance Revenue Analyst to join our team of solutions-oriented innovators. You’ll use your problem solving and data analytics skills to report and analyze regional monthly revenue. You’ll work closely with people across the organization to capture monthly revenue calculations and reconciliations of related accounts, client contract treatment and forecast variance analysis as part of the monthly financial close process. YOUR IMPACT:

• Execute month-end close processes including revenue calculations and analysis, account reconciliations, and adjustments capturing Publicis Sapient revenue performance.
• Provide revenue oversight, guidance, problem resolution and training to various teams across the organization, including project teams, finance, and corporate legal to ensure teams properly execute revenue-based deliverables.
• Read and interpret Publicis Sapient’s client contracts to determine appropriate accounting treatment in accordance with relevant guidance and ensure proper set-up in Oracle.
• Work with financial operations team to analyze and research variances between actual revenue results and forecasted amounts.
• Provide finance management with various analyses of revenue and related balance sheet impacts as needed and coordinate overall client health inputs with other Revenue people to provide picture to management.
• Ensure compliance with established internal controls, policies and procedures, and established business processes to improve processes withing PS revenue team function.
• Assist with billing and collections issues as needed to identify situations where revenue or receivables are at risk.

Qualifications

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Years of related work experience in either a revenue accounting or general accounting role.
• Experience creating and interpreting ad hoc financial analysis.
• Ability to research and resolve basic to complex revenue related accounting issues including application of IFRS accounting standards and company policy.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to understand and infer relationships between metrics and operational and financial processes.

SET YOURSELF APART WITH:

• Working well navigating multiple high-priority deadlines and responsibilities while landing on all deliverables.
• Strong Excel experience required, including work with pivot tables and advanced formulas.
• Oracle Project Accounting is a plus.
• Effective communication skills to various levels of management.

The range shown represents a grouping of relevant ranges currently in use at Publicis Sapient.  Actual range for this position may differ, depending on location and specific skillset require for the work itself.
