Job Description
As a Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Solution Architect, you will lead the design, implementation, and deployment of Salesforce-centric Marketing, Personalization, and Engagement solutions for enterprise clients in various industries. Your work will be focused on delivering measurable outcomes for clients, and will span the breadth of Salesforce’s Martech capabilities, which may include Marketing Cloud, CDP, Interaction Studio, Pardot, and Datorama.

Your Impact:
Get and stay current with Salesforce’s Martech product direction and related certifications to best guide customer decision making
Meet with clients to analyze their work practices and understand the nature of their businesses to properly define needs and customize marketing solutions using Salesforce suite of tools
Guide client decision making and prioritization by leading client workshops using digital and in-person whiteboarding techniques
Understand and guide end-to-end personalization use cases from data design/ingestion to marketing activation and reporting
Develop functional specifications and business architecture (in close collaboration with Marketing Technical Architect)
Collaborate with business development and project management to shape an engagement for success
Collaborate with product owner to maximize the value of each sprint
Offer guidance and coaching on campaign best practices to maximize the value of clients’ Salesforce Investments
Negotiate solutions to complex scenarios with multiple parties and agendas
Provide guidance to optimizing marketing operations
Develop and nurture trusted adviser relationships with clients
Lead and coach customers throughout their Salesforce journey
Further develop our team by managing, coaching, and mentoring consultants and early career team members
Qualifications
Your Skills & Experience:
Solid technical background in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, with a solid understanding of Salesforce CRM as well as related MarTech and AdTech solutions (i.e. site analytics, CMS, CDP, site tagging, optimization platforms, etc)
Ability to uncover business requirements, develop a technical strategy and be able to create and effectively demonstrate technical solutions that address customer requirements
Ability to collaborate across multiple teams. These services have a high number of internal stakeholders with conflicting needs and require strong product leadership to ensure alignment, consistent design principles, and adoption from other teams.
Unique mix of marketing, project management, business case/user story development and Salesforce Marketing Cloud implementation experience, with an emphasis on navigating complex front-end technical and operational environments
Exposure to integrations, developing, and executing data migrations
Experience consulting with clients in B2C or B2B industries with an emphasis on personalization, MarTech, and AdTech solutions
Strong facilitation and interpersonal skills
Understanding of Agile best practices
Understanding of Marketing Automation, Data Governance, Security and Compliance best practices
