    Job Description

    As part of Publicis Sapient Global Corporate Marketing & Communications team, our Data & Insights practice spans data science, data insights, marketing operations, prospect and lead management, and marketing technology in support of global marketing and client acquisition. We are an entrepreneurial, agile and diverse team, responding to incredibly high demand to expand our data service model quickly, to deliver business-driving analysis and insights across engagement, lead and revenue performance for our brand, industry and recruitment marketing teams.

    We are seeking a data-curious self-starter and strategic thinker, with excellent strategic, analytical, technical, stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills, who is eager to share in the successes of a small, dedicated, growth-driven team.

    We seek entrepreneurial individuals with a background in business and marketing performance analysis and a passion for translating data into compelling stories and actionable insights.

    As part of our evolving Data & Insights practice, the Data Strategy lead, working closely with internally- and externally-sourced quantitative and qualitative data sets, as well as other inputs, will expertly craft data strategy, insights, and a well-rounded data story, to set up and convey the impact of our marketing activities with thoughtfully prepared artifacts, including measurement frameworks, performance and measurement plans and results, use cases, and executive-ready insights presentations.

    YOUR IMPACT:

    • Design, structure and build a data strategy(ies) in support of complex or semi-complex data challenges that exist across our internal marketing teams, typically involving multi-channel marketing programs and Journeys, integrated plans and tactics, tiered performance goals, and spanning multiple ManTech platforms (internal and external).
    • Analyze business needs, define technical and analytical requirements, build operating models, create strategy, use data-driven decision-making, and use a combination of tools and frameworks to uncover strategic solutions, which deliver business impact and solve stakeholder needs.
    • Continue to develop and help drive the strategy for the organization's data strategy including data architecture, Reporting, Insights, Analytics, Operations, Predictive modeling, attribution and Machine Learning/AI.
    • Create data and performance framework templates to visually and simply convey a high-to-low level approach to goals, touchpoints, measurement, as well as specific KPI definition.
    • Leverage tools, technology, and knowledge of Journey Management practices and methodology to help teams understand how to best analyze their experience-led journeys and campaigns.
    • Create compelling and visually advanced and polished presentations to convey an impact-focused data story to internal marketing teams and stakeholders.
    • Act as a thought-leader and partner for internal marketing teams and stakeholders by bridging market trends, external data and insights, as well as past performance to their specific challenges, opportunities, and ambitions.
    • Maintain shareable library and knowledge management for all 3rd party insights, research and stats, for easy and searchable access.
    • Host brainstorms and workshops with data teams or marketing teams to ideate on complex data frameworks and needed solutions.
    • Lead teams to better understand how to best structure, set up, and program/implement across the Marketing Technology Stack, to best measure and track success across channels, through the end-to-end journey.
    • Enhance the reporting process internally through automation for data extraction and processing.
    • Drive forward a test and learn mindset, as well as before and after set up and results related to website performance, media investments, product features, or any other initiatives warranted.
    • Contribute to the evolution of our Attribution Strategies and Methodologies by maintaining in-depth understanding and tracking of marketing and brand marketing business impacts driven directly or indirectly by the work of our marketing team.
    • Contribute to or lead the compilation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly Impact Reports.
    • Ability to drive and lead optimization efforts across various marketing activities.
    • Ability to use data to provide actionable insights for team members and clients
  • Qualifications

    YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Experience working in a data analytics/data-centric business environment with a strong foundation in data strategy. Consulting background, or agency team orientation preferred.
    • Entrepreneurial and self-starter mindset, with excellent problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent leadership skills, with a focus on empathetic leadership, with a team-player attitude.
    • Expert communicator, both verbally and written, especially as it relates to breaking down complex structures into digestible and relevant points for a diverse set of colleagues, at all levels.

    SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING:

    • 8+ years of experience identifying areas where data can be used to improve business activities and making recommendations for standardization and proper data usage based off of data analysis
    • 5+ years of experience establishing key initiatives for a data strategy within an organization, including creating approaches and frameworks for data strategy initiatives, including data architecture, data analysis, data insights, data governance, data visualization, advanced analytics, etc.
    • 5-10 years of experience working with multi-channel marketing datasets.
    • Strategic thinker and leader to bring new ideas and solutions to the team.
    • Experience identifying areas where data can improve business outcomes.
    • Experience engaging with senior leaders to improve technology and analytics platforms to help build a digital-savvy, data-driven culture.
    • Passionate about technology, with experience in machine learning, automation, AI, and Ad-tech.

    Additional Information

    Pay Range: $90,000 - $175,000

    The range shown represents a grouping of relevant ranges currently in use at Publicis Sapient. The actual range for this position may differ, depending on location and the specific skillset required for the work itself.
