Job Description

We are looking for a talented, self-motivated front-end developer who has strong Angular experience and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Qualified applicants must be detail-oriented, result-driven individuals who work well within collaborative teams.

We are seeking candidates with a willingness to learn all aspects of modern application development to be a full stack developer. Our goal is to create well-rounded developers who may have strong expertise in and be leveraged primarily for either front end or back end development, but with the capability to support all development efforts.

Main technologies used on the project include JavaScript, Angular, Java, Spring, SQL Server, Hibernate, and Git/BitBucket.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE:

• 1+ years of experience working with Angular, preferred
• Experience working with responsive web designs and (mobile web sites nice to have)
• Expertise in HTML5, CSS3/SASS, JavaScript/TypeScript
• Experience translating designs into completed HTML pages while strictly adhering to specifications
• Familiarity with concepts related to data flow and component driven architectures with practical experience based on Angular
• Ability to learn new UI technologies quickly
• Ability to multi-task and to adapt quickly to shifting priorities
• Ability to ensure cross-browser, cross-platform, and multiple device type compatibility
• Collaborative skills needed to work closely with back-end developers in ensuring the integrity of the UI throughout the development lifecycle (e.g. REST APIs)
• Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a remote environment
• Excellent analytical and process-oriented skills
• Willingness to learn technologies outside of one’s domain
• Experience in agile development methodologies
• Must be eligible for U.S. Government Clearance
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Legal Permanent Resident.

NICE TO HAVES:

• Prior experience in a consulting firm or agency preferred
• Experience with unit testing
• Knowledge of accessibility issues and Section 508 standards and compliance
• Experience with version control, Git preferred
• Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, BitBucket, Confluence), or similar application suite
• Familiarity with UI libraries, such as PrimeNG, Angular Material, etc.
• Familiarity with server-side technologies or frameworks (e.g. Java/Spring)
• Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree from college or University
