    JOB SUMMARY

    This position is responsible for advising employees and enforcing practice in the areas of human resources policy procedures, health benefits, recruiting and staffing, training and developments, safety, FMLA, ADA and other related leaves of absence (disability, personal leave of absence, and workers’ compensation).

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Interface on a day-to-day basis with first line supervisors and employees on procedural questions, issues, and conflict resolutions
    • Perform as employee relations liaison to managers and staff
    • Coach managers, supervisors, and employees in dealing with employee relations issues; conduct investigations and provide guidance and suggestions on possible resolutions
    • Track levels of corrective action, providing feedback to appropriate employees, and/ or management staff
    • Audit and assist with dissemination of all policies and procedures issued
    • Coordinate leave of absence program with employees and management; coordinate efforts with other departments as necessary
    • Participate in the new employee orientation programs
    • Maintain records of personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, terminations and employee statistics
    • Assist line managers with performance appraisals; track due dates for the territory and report on outstanding performance appraisals by manager
    • Participate in the Safety Committee and play an active role in the introduction and compliance of safety policies
    • Recruit to fill open positions as needed, taking candidates through the entire hiring process from application to onboarding.
    • Provide administrative support as needed for HR systems
