Internship Purpose :
The EILEEN FISHER Internship Program cultivates the professional and personal development of our interns through meaningful immersion in our organization and culture. Interns gain valuable knowledge and hands-on work experience, while developing useful skills, building their resumes, and expanding their professional networks.
The internship program will commence on June 5 and end on August 11, 2023.
Position Summary :
This role will be based in our Irvington, NY location and Manhattan, NY for photoshoots
Spend a summer assisting our How to Wear + Styling Teams as they work on key looks and concepts for our upcoming Spring 2024 collection, develop stories for product expression, and style for ongoing brand photography projects.

This is a paid internship.
Learning Goals:
· Hone communication and collaboration skills as part of a small creative team.
· Gain exposure to the process of line building, concept development and styling.
· Gain insight into to the logistical side of the creative process, understanding deadlines and navigating conflicting seasons and project priorities.
· Participate in tool-building for the communication of creative concepts to partner teams.
· Gain exposure to what goes into styling for brand photo shoots from the perspective of an
in-house Brand Styling Team.
· Develop proficiency in Figma
Summary of Duties and Responsibilities :
The How to Wear & Styling Intern will work primarily with our Sr. Director of Product Concept + Styling, our How to Wear Team and our Styling Team on various projects related to three concurrent seasons.
-For Spring 2024, the How to Wear Team will be working closely with Design, Merchandising,
and Buying Teams, as we prepare key looks, photo shoots and selling tools for Market.
__Our intern will be hands-on, assisting as we build looks and tools for communicating
creative concepts to partner teams.
__
-For Pre-Spring 2024, the How to Wear and Styling Teams will be partnering with our Direct
to Consumer Buying Team and our Brand Communications Team to hone product stories
for brand expression.
__Our intern will attend meetings and see how these teams collaborate.
__
-For Fall 2023, our Styling Team will be working on brand + ecomm shoots for Fall 2023.
__Our intern will assist the Styling Team in a variety of tasks related to styling for photo
shoots, including pre-shoot look-building, sample tracking and unpacking, on-set sample
prep and organization, and on-set styling assistance.
PERFORMS OTHER RELATED DUTIES AND ASSIGNMENTS AS REQUIRED.
