  • Responsibilities

    HealthFitness has multiple opportunities for a part time (10-15 hours per week) Lifeguards at The Yukon Kuskokwim Fitness Center in Bethel, AK!  As a Lifeguard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of patrons, observing and enforcing all rules and regulations, responding quickly to emergencies, administering first aid to injured patrons and communicating with staff and management.  You will also be responsible for attending all in-service training programs, performing cleaning and maintenance duties in and around the pool area and assisting Management staff with other duties as assigned.

    Key Accountabilities:

    • Ensure the safety and well-being of patrons by performing Lifeguard surveillance, enforcing facility policies and following all regulations and procedures.
    • Complete cleaning and maintenance tasks, including but not limited to pool area and locker rooms.
    • Check and record chemical and filtration system readings and alert management to issues.
    • Attend in-service training's.
    • Assist with special programs as assigned.
    • Other duties as needed/assigned.

    Skills and Experience needed:

    • Current American Red Cross Lifeguarding Certification Required (can apply if enrolled in Lifeguard Training).
    • 2+ years of Lifeguarding experience preferred.
    • CPO Certification preferred.
    • Must possess strong verbal communication skills and ability to communicate with all ages of patrons.

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

     

    • International, corporate and partnership tax knowledge
    • Strong accounting, analytical, and research skills.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
    • Knowledge of tax code, compliance and procedures for corporations and partnerships.
    • Experience with U.S. international reporting requirements.
    • Experience with a variety of tax operations and ability to drive process improvements.
    • Strong ability to utilize project management and accounting best practices to organize and prioritize tasks.
    • Ability to work well independently as well as the ability to work well with stakeholders.
    • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
    • We are looking for a candidate with 12+ years of experience in a tax or public accountant role. Preferred candidates have a current CPA license or working towards a CPA license and a bachelor’s degree in an accounting discipline.
    • Strong skills and experience with Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint.
    • Familiarity with SAP, HFM, Corptax, and research tools.
