We are seeking a motivated Sales Consultant (Literary Development Agent) to join our dedicated team bringing authors' work to life! We are a full-service book publisher that partners with up-and-coming authors to assist them in realizing their dreams of being fully published and distributed. We also market/promote their books via Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and more. Responsibilities: This position is classified as an Independent Contractor position. We provide leads (no cold calling), email, phone, and a customer relationship management (CRM) system. The compensation for the position is 100% commission and bonuses. We provide a structured training and support program as well as a training stipend to get you started. As an Independent Contractor, the schedule is flexible, but the most successful agents generally maintain standard business hours with some weekend and evening work. Professional and friendly verbal and written skills are paramount as working with leads is primarily done via phone and email contact. All leads are considered warm leads and there is no cold-calling associated with the position. A successful agent can expect annual earnings in the range of $72k+ per year. Top agents earn just a bit over $130k/yr (if you are familiar and comfortable with the takeaway sales strategy, it is very possible to earn over $100k/yr.).
