    Our client in Owings Mills is looking for a Purchasing Assistant. This is a contract position looking to start ASAP!

    Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for reviewing and transmitting orders to our vendors and distributors
    • Work within the inventory platform as well as within vendor's portals.
    • Assist in the daily operations of the purchasing department.
    • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
    • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures

    Requirements:

    • High School Diploma
    • Experience with inventory or order management systems.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office required.
    • Attention to detail required.
    • Knowledge of Excel.
