  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    We are seeking a Supply Chain Assistant who is a detail-oriented and proactive individual to support our Hardware Purchasing Department. This role involves assisting with purchasing, inventory management, and data coordination to ensure timely deliveries, cost efficiency, and continuous process improvement.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Review vendor acknowledgements and enter order numbers, shipping details, and **** pricing into ERP purchase orders
    • Review, process, and track all hardware replacement and warranty requests for incorrect or damaged materials
    • Communicate with vendors to gather missing information, clarify orders, and support Buyers and Project Managers
    • Track shipping dates and expedite orders as needed by pulling and analyzing hardware release reports
    • Identify and report pricing discrepancies between vendor acknowledgements and purchase orders
    • Maintain accurate records of vendor quotes, lead times, price books, and surcharges
    • Distribute updated price books and vendor literature
    • Support system and process improvements, including ERP and Smartsheet enhancements
    • Assist with administrative tasks and special projects as needed
    • Provide exceptional internal customer service
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent; purchasing or distribution experience preferred
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Proficient in MS Office and database software
    • Excellent time management and organizational skills
    • High attention to detail and accuracy
    • Solid math skills (arithmetic, algebra, fractions, ratios)
    • Able to work independently and as part of a team

    Hourly Rate: $20.00-$22.00

    Hours: Standard business hours are 8am-5pm
