    About the Role

    As a Purchasing Clerk & Courier, you help ensure our cardiology clinics remain fully stocked and operational. This role supports the purchasing and distribution of medical and office supplies across multiple clinic locations.

    Based in Tacoma, you will receive and verify supply orders, coordinate deliveries, maintain purchasing records, and distribute supplies to clinics throughout the region. This position plays an important role in maintaining efficient clinic operations and ensuring providers and staff have the resources they need to care for patients.

    Day-to-Day Responsibilities

    Supply Receiving & Distribution

    • Receive and verify incoming supplies against packing slips
    • Distribute medical and office supplies to the appropriate clinic locations and departments
    • Manage storage, organization, and disposal of unused goods across clinics

    Purchasing & Inventory Support

    • Assist purchasing staff with order tracking, returns, and damaged goods
    • Maintain purchasing records and perform daily data entry in purchasing systems
    • Communicate with vendors regarding supply deliveries and logistics

    Delivery & Logistics Coordination

    • Transport supplies between clinic locations throughout the region
    • Adapt delivery routes as needed to support clinic operations
    • Coordinate delivery status and updates with clinic staff and stakeholders

    Communication & Collaboration

    • Maintain positive working relationships with vendors and clinic teams
    • Communicate delivery updates through phone, text, and email
    • Support operational needs across departments as needed

    What You'll Need to Succeed

    Minimum Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or GED
    • 1–3 years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Valid driver's license and current auto insurance
    • Ability to work independently while managing multiple delivery priorities

    Preferred Experience

    • Previous delivery, courier, or logistics experience
    • Experience in healthcare or medical office environments
    • Familiarity with purchasing or inventory systems

    Technical Skills

    • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Teams
    • Experience with NetSuite or other ERP systems (preferred)
    • Basic computer skills, including email and documentation tools

    Work Environment

    • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
    • ** Location:** Based in Tacoma, WA (in-office)
    • ** Travel:** Regular travel to clinics throughout the region, primarily Pierce County and occasionally Thurston County
    • ** Vehicle Use:** Personal vehicle required; mileage reimbursed at the IRS rate (currently $0.725 per mile)

    Physical Requirements:
    This role involves frequent movement between clinic locations and supply handling. Team members must be able to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs. unassisted and operate delivery carts or hand trucks as needed.

    Pay & Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $25.38 – $31.94
