Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage purchasing activities to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to negotiate pricing and terms.
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as necessary to prevent shortages.
- Review and analyze purchase orders for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Assist in developing and implementing purchasing strategies to optimize costs.
- Collaborate with various departments to forecast purchasing needs and trends.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
- Prepare reports on purchasing activities and supplier performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in a similar industry.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and purchasing software.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
