    Position Summary:
    The Purchasing & Inside Sales Representative plays a dual role in supporting both supplier relationships and customer engagement. This position is responsible for sourcing and procuring industrial products while also managing customer accounts, processing orders, and driving sales growth. By bridging purchasing and sales, this role ensures that customer needs are met with quality products, competitive pricing, and excellent service.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, providing quotes, processing orders, and delivering responsive support.
    • Source, negotiate, and purchase products and services from suppliers to meet customer demand and inventory requirements.
    • Maintain and strengthen relationships with both customers and vendors to support long-term growth.
    • Monitor inventory levels, coordinate replenishment, and track open purchase orders.
    • Collaborate with outside sales, operations, and warehouse teams to ensure on-time delivery and fulfillment.
    • Identify opportunities for cross-selling, upselling, and expanding product offerings.
    • Resolve issues related to pricing, delivery, and quality with both suppliers and customers.
    • Stay current on product knowledge, industry trends, and competitive offerings.
    • Accurately maintain records in ERP and CRM systems (Business Central preferred).

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Marketing, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
    • 2+ years of experience in purchasing, inside sales, or industrial distribution.
    • Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/CRM systems (Business Central a plus).
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
