Job Summary
We are seeking a Purchasing & Operation Assistant to join our team and expand our business! You will be working with multiple vendors to place orders and submit claims. You will also be working with warehouse to monitor inventory levels and ensure quantity accuracy. You will also work with Customer Service Sales Team for stock availability inquiries and will be responsible for back order management. You will also work with marketing team for product sourcing and new product setup. You are also an Executive Assistant to CEO to monitor overall operation to ensure team productivity and quality. The ideal candidate has strong organizational and communication skills, the ability to multitask and shift priorities as needed, and an understanding of supply chain procedures.
Responsibilities
Review inventory levels to identify supply needs and ensure sufficient inventory to fulfill daily orders
Place orders, follow up on delays, and maintain strong working relationships with vendors
Maintain accurate inventory levels, ordering an appropriate amount of product before it is at critical levels
Evaluate offers from multiple vendors, determining the best place to order based on price and quality, conducting research as necessary to find an appropriate supplier
Submit claims for breakage or defects and follow up replacement or credit status with vendors
Verify inventory shipment received quantity and invoice amount
Provide monthly report for top sellers and suggest closing out items
Coordinate with marketing team to set up new vendors/new items
Review daily order fulfilment and service quality
Manage office/warehouse supply and purchase
Coordinate and communicate with team leaders to implement business development plans
Assist CEO/Executives for research, training, business development and implementation
Qualifications
Previous experience in a similar position for 2+ years desired
Bachelor's or Master degree for business management relevant major
Strong computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Understanding of the supply chain, and common issues surrounding it, desired
The ability to multitask and shift priorities, as needed
