Job #2695 Plymouth manufacturing firm has a need for a person to move into the Purchasing Agent position. This is a small company of about 50 people. You will purchase parts and materials to keep inventory stocked so production can flow. Source new vendors when needed. Negotiate with suppliers regarding price. Enter PO's into system. Maintain files. This is an onsite position. MUST BE A RESIDENT OF THE TWIN CITIES METRO AREA. Duties: * Procure parts and supplies as needed * Research and identify suppliers as needed * Keep inventory appropriately stocked at all times * Communicate with others internally regarding delays or other issues Requirements: * High School diploma * Knowledge of purchasing and sourcing procedures * 1 year experience in Purchasing or Supply Chain departments * Good computer skills, communication skills and problem solving ability Company Description Purchasing Professionals Inc. dba PPI Search and Consulting.
