ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, the General Manager is the heart and soul of their PB Metro studio. The General Manager runs the daily operations and long-term strategies of their location, and they are a key influencer in building the Pure Barre brand by leading the front desk sales team at their studio. Our General Managers are fun, organized, outgoing, and forward-thinking leaders who love people and building their studio’s member and client base.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Specific responsibilities and duties of this role include the following:
Lead by example in the studio by connecting with staff and clientele during peak class times
Implement sales process and utilize POS system (Club Ready) to schedule prospects into introductory classes, generate sales, run sales reports, track client journeys and identify opportunities to grow client loyalty
Lead the sales team to meet/exceed specific membership goals
Interview, hire and lead training and development for all sales ambassadors
Understand the Pure Barre technique, and ensure that the class experience is being delivered consistently and effectively
With Director of Brand & Marketing, plan and execute on-site pop-up classes, trunk shows, grassroots marketing events and partnerships
Coordinate retail orders with Director of Operations and change out the retail floor and design displays weekly
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
Strong instinct for hospitality and customer service
Superior verbal, written, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Passionate about fitness, wellness, and/or the Pure Barre brand
Relates well to people; inspires trust, and builds credibility and strong relationships quickly
Resourceful; able to solve problems and move forward without having all the answers
Microsoft Suite and Google Drive knowledge required
Fitness or hospitality experience required, preferably in a leadership role

COMPENSATION
Salary range $60,000-$75,000 commensurate with experience (includes base salary and monthly bonus potential). Benefits include paid vacation and the option to participate in company subsidized health insurance and 401K plan.
