    KEY RESPONSIBILITIESReporting directly to the General Manager, the Assistant Sales Manager will assist with daily sales and will be a key influencer in building the Pure Barre brand in the greater NYC area. The Assistant Sales Manager is responsible for working closely with the GM to lead and motivate the sales ambassador team to achieve and exceed sales goals. This person must be passionate about Pure Barre, self-motivated, and a team player.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIESSpecific responsibilities and duties of this role include the following:

    Leadership/Time Management

    Essential contributor to drive revenue and studio growth.

    Work approximately 20-hrs of desk shifts per week including at least one weekend and one evening shift per week in order to connect with staff and clientele. Scheduled to work at least 1 shift on the GM’s days off.

    Provide leadership for the desk team, setting an excellent standard for the studio and inspiring the team to achieve studio goals.

    Manage desk duty lists and oversee follow-through.

    Give and receive coaching within the sales ambassador staff and notify the GM of any needs or concerns with the desk staff.

    Assist in training new sales ambassadors in coordination with the GM.

    Monitor urgent needs on Immediate notes/Desk Log/emails.

    Responsible for emergency needs at the studio (broken mic, etc.) during working hours. If an emergency occurs outside of normal working hours, responsible to assist if able and available.

    Required to be present for certain special in-studio events.

    Attend and participate in weekly Operational meetings.

    Client Experience

    Follow up with clients throughout the lead management process with a minimum number of client contacts per shift.

    Provide excellent customer service.

    Maintain frozen agreements.

    Follow up on failed auto pays and obtain missing payments.

    Follow up with clients canceling memberships – gather client feedback and offer replacement package opportunities.

    Retail Maintenance

    Assist GM with monthly retail inventory.

    Accurately input and tag new retail.

    Assist with retail merchandising. Change mannequins and flip the retail floor a minimum of 1x/week.

    Studio Maintenance

    Maintain excellent studio, equipment and retail area cleanliness.

    Maintain studio supplies and reorder as necessary being economical and prudent.

    Sound system issues (repairs, troubleshooting, contacting sound experts if needed)

    Class equipment maintenance (re-order and maintain balls, tubes, mats, etc.)

    PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS

    Passionate about people and fitness

    Superior verbal, written, organizational, and interpersonal skills are necessary

    Resourceful; able to solve problems and move forward without having all the answers

    Relates well to people, inspires trust, and builds credibility and strong relationships quickly

    Able to deliver constructive criticism tactfully

    Maintain confidentiality and trustworthiness with all team members

    Ability to train and develop team members

    Astute in managing multiple relationships and the ability to keep an eye on the big picture/strategic objectives while, at the same time, handling the details of the day to day business

    Bachelor’s degree preferred

    Studio/retail management experience a plus
