    Human Resources Manager, Pureon Inc. (US)

While focused on the US, this position is part of a larger, international Human Resources team that is working passionately to grow and develop the team of co-entrepreneurs in our newly merged organization.

    The Human Resources Manager will be an integral part of the leadership team and will partner with management to understand and execute Pureon’s human capital philosophy and strategy. The manager will be responsible for fostering the Pureon culture and driving the organization toward a Best In Class workplace.

    The HR Manager will also:

    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Review policies and practices to maintain compliance.
    • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes and new technologies in human resources, talent management and employment law.
    • Provide support and guidance to management and staff with specialized or sensitive personnel issues.
    • Create learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
    • Oversee employee disciplinary meetings, investigations and terminations.
    • Facilitate performance management and employee development processes and programs
    • Manage the talent acquisition process, including recruitment, interviewing, hiring and onboarding. Collaborate with management to understand skills and competencies required for job openings.
    • Analyze trends in compensation and benefits; research and propose competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
    • Manage and administer payroll and employee benefits programs.
    • Collaborate with other global HR leaders and participate in global company initiatives

    REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES

    • Thorough understanding of employment-related laws and regulations
    • Strong technology experience with HRIS and/or talent management systems
    • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism and confidentiality
    • Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately at all levels of the organization

     

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • Bachelor’s degree (Business related field) is preferred
    • Minimum of three years experience in an HR management function; manufacturing environment is strongly preferred

    This position is based in our Monroe, NC facility. Travel is minimal, however this position will be responsible for ensuring an HR presence and compliance at three different US worksites.
