Job Description

Eurofins PSS is seeking a Purification Scientist to permanently work at a client site to support purification and analytical characterization of gene therapy cell culture samples. The successful employee will thrive in a high throughput environment, utilizing automated and manual instruments.

** Position Responsibilities:**

• Completing purification runs utilizing Tecan mini-column or tip-based runs, protein maker runs, AKTA bench top runs, or other approved methods
• Packing columns, prepping samples, running assays
• Documentation and data analysis, interpretation, and reporting
• Adapting to rapid changes in a fast-paced environment is essential

Qualifications

** Basic Minimum Qualifications:**

• BS in a life sciences discipline (Biology, Molecular Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, etc.) with at least a year of industry experience in purification using HPLC or AKTA
• Strong pipetting skills
• Ability and willingness to learn and work with automation/robotic handlers
• Must have a strong attention to detail with the ability to analyze data
• Must be eligible to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

** Preferred Qualifications:**

• Experience with Tecan or other automated liquid handlers
• Experience working in a GMP, GLP, or GxP environment
