  • Responsibilities

    We are looking for a bright individual to lead and perform restoration projects as well as assist with cleaning services such as carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning and tile & grout cleaning. The Lead Technician is responsible for the fast response and coordination of emergency water damage, fire, mold and bio-hazard claims and other restoration related activities. Qualified candidates must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and have strict attention to detail.

    We are willing to train the right individual for this position of responsibility.

    Basic knowledge of construction and building materials.

    Basic carpentry skills a plus.

    Must be able to lift 75 lbs.

    Must have clean driving record.

    Must be willing to work a very flexible schedule as we are a 24/7 Emergency response business.

    IICRC Certifications a plus; or willingness and ability to obtain certifications within six months.

    Participation in weekly rotational on-call schedule.

    Ability to make decisions in a fast paced environment.

    Knowledge and experience with the restoration industry’s estimating software program Xactimate a plus; or must have computer skills with the ability to learn Xactimate.

    Duties may include, but are not limited to:

    Technicians perform field restoration activities including demolition, cleaning, emergency flood service and water extraction, restorative drying, fire and smoke damage cleaning and deodorization, content cleaning, pack out and storage and other specialized cleaning.

    Ensures proper set-up and monitoring of equipment used to address the property’s restoration needs. Upon completion of jobs, picks up, cleans and returns equipment to the shop in a timely fashion.

    Ensures timely arrival for scheduled appointments with property owners/managers and other parties. Notifies customer in advance if the crew is running ahead of or behind schedule.

    Takes appropriate steps to protect the customer’s property from further damage including, but not limited to, use of protective shoe covers and floor mats, sealing off areas to prevent the spread of dust and other materials, safe removal of furnishings, flooring, walls, etc. On a daily basis, ensures job tools and materials to be left onsite overnight are organized and placed in a secure location, that trash is removed and the property left as clean as possible.

    Assist both cleaning and restoration divisions of the company.

    If a responsibility or task needs to be completed, fill-in as needed depending on priority.

    Pay & Benefits

    We will provide you with comprehensive PAID training.

    Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM (includes ½ hour for lunch break)

    Occasional night and weekends with advanced notice

    Wage: $14.00-$17.00 per hour OR BASED ON INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE : 35-40 hours per week

    Paid Vacation: 90 Day Eligibility

    Paid Holidays: 90 Day Eligibility

    Shall be paid when the holiday falls on a normal business/working day
