Position Overview:

The Contents Technician is responsible for preparing and packing customers’ contents for storage as well as unpacking, which may or may not include inventory & cleaning. Additionally, they will complete structure cleaning services at the customer’s home as directed by the scope of work. The hours for this position vary from part-time to full-time depending upon workload. A minimum number of hours can be discussed upon offer of employment. The position work hours are typically Monday through Friday, as early at 7 am to 5 pm, but can be extended into overtime hours depending on the job schedule. Occasionally, shifts can exceed 12 hours. An On Call schedule will be assigned each quarter for afterhours emergency calls.

Requirements:

· Cleaning, moving, and packing experience is preferred but not required.

· Customer service experience

· Ability to use an iPad and / or iPhone to operate apps.

· Ability to learn and manage device Applications.

· Ability to learn and maintain Ultrasonic Cleaning Equipment & other cleaning equipment.

· Must have a satisfactory, insurable driving record. May be required to drive personal vehicle to and from job sites if necessary.

· Due to program guidelines, all employees must be able to pass a satisfactory background screening on a biennial basis.

Duties & Responsibilities:

· Packages, labels, & wraps goods for appropriate storage, onsite or offsite using an inventory program. Assembles contents boxes for storage and labels boxes accurately.

· Performs cleaning duties of customer homes, structure, and contents according to the scope of work and management instruction. Contents Cleaning can vary using different cleaning methods, such as hand cleaning or ultrasonic cleaning and use of various cleaning equipment.

· Provide exceptional customer service according to company expectations including reporting issues and other discrepancies to management in a prompt manner.

· May be exposed to a variety of unpleasant odors; including, but not limited to pet odors, smoke, and food odors.

· Safely operate company vehicles.

· Additional duties may be assigned per business needs.
