Department: Front of House
Reports to: Manager on Duty
Overall Responsibility:
Purple Cow Food Expeditors (Expo) are responsible for professionally communicating information between the front of house and back of house, making sure that food is sent to tables in the right order, quickly, and presented to the guest according to the Purple Cow specifications. Expeditors are responsible for the the final presentation of the plate, making sure it is dressed and garnished correctly and free from smudges or spills. Our goal is for all team members to cooperatively work with each other to consistently provide guests with “Outrageous” service.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Maintaining a clean station
Organizing prepared menu items
Ensure proper delivery of menu items to the appropriate table either by other team members or yourself
Packaging togo orders according to Purple Cow standards
Ensure proper delivery of togo orders to the togo specialist either by other team members or yourself
Stocking of job related items
Communicates with:
All Team Members, Management and Guests
Qualifications:
Strong sense of guest service and urgency.
Good Organizational and Multi-tasking skills.
Ability to stay focused on tasks
Guest relations
Ability to work with others
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
