ABOUT THE ROLE
As a HR and Talent Coordinator at Purpose, you will work jointly with the HR & Talent Manager, Recruiter, Talent Acquisition Associate and Operations team members to successfully deliver internal projects and administrative tasks, while keeping Purpose HR and Talent processes seamless and efficient. Candidates who can begin immediately are strongly encouraged to apply, and the role is temporarily remote due to COVID.
This role is offered at the Junior Associate tier, with a salary band of $45,000 - $60,000, commensurate with experience. This is a full time role with room for growth within the organization. You will be reporting to the HR & Talent Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES
HUMAN RESOURCES - As an HR & Talent Coordinator, you will be responsible for day-to-day communication and operational aspects on a number of projects. Your core responsibilities will be to:
- Work in collaboration with team members to schedule stakeholder interviews
- Serve as a point of contact for tactical or operational questions about the projects within Purpose, communicating on Slack, via email and in person
- Work in partnership with the Project Manager and team members to ensure working documents, meeting notes and final deliverables are appropriately filed
- Working in partnership with the Project Managers and finance team on budgets for new projects and tracking live project budgets
- Complete internal tracking mechanisms to help Purpose monitor progress of projects
- Drafting scopes of work from templates for approval by Project Managers
- Taking detailed notes in internal and external meetings to record conversation and track actions
TALENT RECRUITMENT - As an HR & Talent Coordinator, you will be responsible for day-to-day communication and operational aspects on a number of projects. Your core responsibilities will be to:
- Partner with internal recruiters to assist with full life-cycle recruiting processes as-needed.
- Posting open roles via the company's external and internal website, as well as other external sites, professional organizations, social and professional media to ensure high visibility with potential candidates.
- Support the candidate interview process including scheduling interviews, greeting candidates, and keeping candidate profiles updated in the Applicant Tracking System.
- Champion recruiting operations, and drive process improvements as needed.
- Provide logistical support to the Talent and Operations teams to successfully on board new hires.
- Manage scheduling and candidate communication during the recruitment life-cycle, in partnership with other team members.
- Work with team members to build robust tracking and reporting processes
QUALIFICATIONS
We think you will be a successful candidate if you:
- 1+ years of work experience in a fast-paced, agency environment (i.e. professional services, creative agencies, consulting) or advocacy environment, demonstrating a consistent ability to learn on the job and deliver tasks on time
- Have experience using HRIS systems or platforms, e.g. TriNet, Greenhouse, Namely.
- You have supported onboarding and offboarding process
- You are detail oriented and collaborative
- You are a problem solver, and can proactively jump in to ensure tasks are completed and goals are met
- Adhere to personal data privacy regulations
- Have the ability and willingness to learn about the position requirements
- Excellent track record of time management, systems organization, and follow-up
- A confident facilitator to coordinate discussions between multiple internal stakeholders (such as an interdisciplinary team of different specialists across different geographies)
- Collaborative and inclusive about working with global teams that are from diverse backgrounds
- Critical thinker, have high integrity, a team player with hands-on attitude, and a passionate problem-solving spirit
- Proficiency in creating spreadsheets and using word-processing programs (primarily in Google Suites)
