Job Description

REGIONAL FINANCIAL CONSULTANT

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

·       Manage, train and assist BOM, Admission directors and center with all AR concerns.

·       Train and assist BOM with billing, processes and cash collections

·       Managed BOM trust accounts to ensure accuracy. Review reconciliation monthly.

·       Review aging reports to minimize accounts over 30 days uncollected.

·       Review and process payment denials.

·       Produces reports and aging from billing system to provide feedback to management.

·       Ensure Business office is reviewing and working  aging balances until payment

·       Provide input and review as business office works with patients and patient families on medical application process

·       Perform multiple audits to ensure center is up to date with authorizations, and current billing.

·       Conduct monthly AR reviews to ensure plans are carried out to maximize cash each month.

·       Communicate any issues or concerns in the Business Office or with admissions team.

·       Managed, train, review and report all Business Office functions

·       Other duties as assigned

IDEAL CANDIDATE SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:

·       Full knowledge of how to bill Medicare, Managed Care, Medical/Medicaid, Hospice, co-insurance and Private pay and follow up for SNF billing

·       Excellent communication skills both verbal and written and internal personal skills

·       Must be proficient in the billing process and timeliness of billing.

·       Detail oriented

·       Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

·       Strong team work ethics

·       Full knowledge of billing, collections and process for Skilled Nursing.

·       Able to multi-task, meet deadlines and work independently

·       Strong knowledge of admissions process and insurance verification process

·       Knowledge of Trust account process.
