Job Description

We are seeking Child Care Teachers to join our Kirkland Elementary Childcare Center! Putnam City Childcare is dedicated to the children of Putnam City Schools employees. We offer services to children from ages 6 weeks to 4 years old. We are looking to fill positions for our two one year old rooms, our infant room, and a floating position to help with breaks, subbing for absent teachers, and other duties as needed. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Instruct children in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth
• Create a fun and safe environment
• Develop schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents
• Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress
• Maintain the health and safety of all students
• Keep updated training to continue employment

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields
• Passionate about working with children
• Ability to build rapport with children
• Positive and patient demeanor
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
