JOB DESCRIPTION

Putnam Precision Products is a CNC Precision Contract Manufacturer located in Brewster, NY. We are looking for a PROCUREMENT/PURCHASING SPECIALIST for an onsite position. 2+ Years experience, please include salary requirements when applying for this position. Responsibilities include:

Procure all tooling, tool holders, collets, bushings and fixtures for plant manufacturing

Manage tooling blanket orders at optimal level for continued production

Develop and maintain relationships with outside vendors for clear communication and manage expectations, negotiate contracts

Manage shipping and receiving of products daily

Coordinate logistics with vendors to ensure timely delivery

Procure all factory supplies, MRO's, Computer Supplies, Cutting Oils, Lubricants and any other items needed

Daily contact with plant and department managers

Build and Maintain supplier relationships for best pricing quality and latest industry trends

Prepare and enter PO's in Macola, print receivers for accounts

Prepare PO's for vendors

Other responsibilities as needed
