TITLE: Marketing Specialist 

LOCATION: Washington, DC 20068

REMOTE/ON-SITE/HYBRID: Hybrid – in the office 2 days a week, 3 days remote

DURATION:12+ months, contract role 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Provide assistance developing and posting content to clients' digital properties, including website and social media channels. 
• Demonstrated understanding and proficiency with the social media landscape and best practices. 
• Strong writing and editing skills.

REQUIRED:

• 2-3+ years minimum experience
• Bachelors or Equivalent. Degree in English, Communications, Marketing or related field.
• Public Relations or Communications Experience will be a huge plus
• Digital or Social Media Experience
• 2 writing samples REQUIRED TO BE SUBMITTED W/ RESUME – article, brochure, press release—something showing their writing abilities

PLUS:

Knowledge of Sharepoint or other web content management programs a plus.
