DELIVERY DRIVER
Full-Time only position
Schedule
40 hours per week. Monday- Friday from 8:30am-5pm and voluntary Saturday deliveries.
Accountabilities
Prepares and makes deliveries to patient and facility accounts on an assigned route using a company vehicle (non-CDL)
Packages prescription medication and equipment for shipment performs testing, and loads/unloads containers
Maps out routes for deliveries in assigned territories
Flexibility to change the route for same-day/emergency deliveries as needed
Processes packages returned from customer locations
Assist the pharmacist, with equipment and proper vehicle management
Performs general facility cleaning and other duties as required
Performs general facility administrative work as it relates to facility delivery compliance
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to operate office equipment (ex. scanner, printer, computer)
Must hold a current valid driver's license and have proof of current automobile insurance
Two (2) year experience as a delivery driver recommended
Clean driving record
Ability to lift containers weighing up to 50 pounds
Comfortable driving in all weather conditions during day or night hours
Ability to sit, stand, be mobile and operate a vehicle for extended periods of time
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work holidays or be in a holiday rotation when required
Ability to work on-call or be in an on-call rotation required
Flexibility to work various shifts or overtime as needed
Knowledge of FedEx Ship Manager software (preferred)
Ability to use computers and tablets
Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
