    Role Overview

    As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for executing both manual and automated testing strategies to ensure high-quality releases across sprint cycles. You will contribute to expanding automation coverage, strengthening regression suites, and enhancing overall QA processes.

    This role requires strong analytical thinking, hands-on automation expertise, and the ability to thrive in a deadline-driven Agile delivery environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    Execute manual and automated test cases aligned with QA standards and best practices

    Develop test plans, test cases, and test data for sprint deliverables

    Build strong functional knowledge of assigned web applications and modules

    Perform regression testing and expand automated regression coverage

    Identify, document, and track defects with detailed reproduction steps

    Collaborate with cross-functional Agile team members throughout sprint cycles

    Participate in sprint ceremonies, release planning, and retrospectives

    Use T-SQL to validate backend data accuracy and integrity

    Communicate test results, risks, and quality insights clearly to stakeholders

    Required Qualifications

    4–5+ years of application testing experience using manual and automated approaches

    Experience testing web-based applications with modern automation tools/frameworks

    Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and sprint-based delivery

    Extensive hands-on experience with T-SQL for data validation

    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

    Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

    Ability to work independently and within collaborative teams

    Preferred Qualifications

    Experience in wealth management or financial services environments

    Exposure to scalable automation frameworks and regression suite maintenance

    Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to explain technical findings clearly

    Education

    Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
