Position Summary:
The QA Technician supports Vireo Resources’ commitment to delivering safe, consistent, and high-quality products by monitoring manufacturing activities and helping ensure compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), internal quality standards, and applicable regulatory requirements. This role performs production-floor inspections, in-process quality checks, product and material sampling, environmental monitoring, and documentation reviews. The QA Technician maintains accurate quality records, identifies and communicates potential quality concerns, and assists with investigations, corrective and preventive actions, and third-party laboratory coordination. Working closely with Quality, Production, and Operations teams, this position helps ensure products, processes, equipment, and manufacturing areas consistently meet established quality and compliance expectations.
Role and Responsibilities:
Adhere to and enforce the requirements of the quality management system.
Identify problems and initiate corrections/corrective actions.
Verify compliance and quality of manufacturing processes by:
Initiate investigations and gather initial information to assist with customer complaints, process or product deviations, and equipment issues.
Submit samples to third party labs and maintain results in applicable spreadsheets, SharePoint folders, and software systems.
Analyze, assess, and report information to provide informed notifications to quality management

Performing pre-operational checks including sanitation effectiveness and equipment verifications.
Performing in-process quality checks.
Performing raw material inspections and collecting samples for verification testing.
Performing finished product inspections and collecting samples for verification testing.
Maintaining retention and reserve sample inventory and scheduling and arranging for shelf-life verification testing as required by material/product type.
Performing any in-house testing as required.
Scheduling and performing environmental and drain swabbing.
Scheduling equipment service and calibration.
