This position will analyze large, internal data sets to discover trends, identify performance metrics and identify strategic insights. This Senior Data Analyst will partner with business units and vendors to create business requirements for analytic requests and identify data sources and validate analysis. The Senior Data Analyst will need to be become the subject matter expert for the data they support and have a strong understanding of the business and products. They must have strong presentation skills and be able to credibly communicate data driven insights and recommendations.PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:· Manage and supervise analytic output for Data Analysts· Manage standard and ad hoc reports for Analytic team· Partner with business units to scope and define analytic requests· Partner with IT to identify proper data sources for analysis· Manage analytic requests· Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.· Strong written and verbal communication skills.REQUIREMENTS:· Experience with SAS, R, SPSS, or Python (SAS is preferred)· Experience with Tableau or other Business Intelligence software preferred· Experience with SQL preferred· Strong Excel skills· Ability to communicate and present effectively· Ability to work independently with superior attention to detail· Ability to analyze data and provide insight and recommendations· Ability to quickly gain a thorough understanding of the systems, data, and products· Two to five years of experience in data analysis, financial industry preferred*QCHI is an Equal Opportunity Employer
