About the job: This position is responsible for processing incoming and outgoing shipments, and preparing orders for shipment. The position requires following standard operating procedures and practices which ensures a safe and efficient work environment. Other activities may include warehousing and inventory control. Part time or full time position available. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Utilize wholesale ordering software to manage daily incoming orders, create bills, and communicate with retail customers as needed - Utilize ecommerce software to process online customer orders - Prepare orders for shipping; accurately pack and weigh orders according to packing procedures, verifying product quality such as packaging, labeling, and batch codes - Utilize shipping software to print shipping labels to affix to packages, ensuring correct weights and methods of shipping (USPS, FedEx, UPS, etc) - Maintain inventory of shipping and packing supplies - Deliver packages as needed to UPS, FedEx, USPS - Receive and track customer return shipments - Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse - Cross train in other areas of the company as needs Requirements/Skills - High school Diploma - Strong organizational and time management skills - Computer skills - Warehouse experience desirable - Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
