QC Kinetix, the fastest growing regenerative medical practice in the country, is excited to announce it is looking for a part-time certified medical assistant to help with the care of patients in our Glastonbury clinic. Must have significant phlebotomy experience as well as be a certified medical assistant.

QC Kinetix is a non-surgical regenerative medicine practice with 100+ clinics across the US. Our goal is to help patients with arthritis, sports related injuries and chronic joint pain without the use of surgery, steroids, or pain meds. We are looking for a CMA to work ONE DAY a week, Wednesdays in our Glastonbury clinic with the option to add more days at our New Haven and Avon clinics.

Will be trained on lab skills including the processing of blood and bone marrow aspirate to create regenerative treatments/injections. Will also be trained on assisting providers with out-patient procedures. Must have excellent blood drawing skills. Must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

CMA must have a customer service mindset while interacting with the patient, providing quality care while also ensuring they have a positive experience. Must have a positive attitude and function well in a team. Must have good communication skills with patients and co-workers. Must be able to multi-task with an eye on clinic/appointment flow.

Job will primarily be working as the phlebotomist but will be cross-trained on the front desk.

Phlebotomy responsibilities include:

Phlebotomy, blood draws, injection preparation Ensure rooms are clean and turned for the next patient

Help manage medical inventory Must be knowledgeable about maintaining a sterile work environment in the lab

2 year CMA experience required

Front desk responsibilities include:

Will be trained to use SalesForce, Practice Fusion

Must manage follow-up appointment scheduling, as well as cancellations, no-shows, and rescheduling requests.

Manage payments including credit applications

Manage new patient in-take and consent forms

Manage supply ordering

Performs opening/closing procedures, including schedule prep for morning huddle

Ability to multi-task, be detailed oriented. Ability to stay organized and proactive in a fast-paced environment

One day a week available from 8am-6pm. Must provide own transportation to Glastonbury.

Job Type: Part-time. Ability to add more days at additional clinics open.

Salary: $25 /hour for ten hour day plus bonuses tied to clinic performance
