Job Description

• Regularly testing Raw Materials using wet chemistry techniques
• Periodic Raw Material sampling activities
• Write / revise laboratory-related documentation (e.g. SOPs, SPECs)
• Maintain laboratory supplies
• Ensure continuous laboratory compliance with all cGMP requirements
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a client-facing environment.
• Perform visual testing on all components of drug product container, closure, and medical device components
• May also conduct testing that supports the release of container, closure, and medical device components utilizing several manual and instrumental techniques and documenting associated test results
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment
• Participate in required training activities
• Gathers data and documents test results.
• Complies with all pertinent regulatory agency requirements.
• Completes laboratory documentation and reviews logbook data.
• Calibrates or verifies calibration of instruments/devices prior to use.
• Interacts with outside customers or functional peer groups.
• Continuously drive to improve processes for improved performance using Lean & 5s

Qualifications

The Ideal Candidate will Have:

• Experience working in a fast-paced GMP environment
• Effective time management skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and a positive attitude
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail

Minimum Qualifications:

• BS/BA in Life Sciences, or a related field
• hands-on lab testing experience with wet chemistry techniques
• Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Additional Information

Position is full-time, 1st shift 8:00am – 4:30pm, Monday-Friday. Candidates living within a commutable distance of Rensselaer, NY and the surrounding areas are encouraged to apply.
