JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a door host, you will be expected to greet and engage with each guest coming into our space in a warm and welcoming manner. You will help to ensure that our space is a safe environment for all guests and employees. Specific duties include explaining our safety protocols in a welcoming manner, managing waitlists, checking IDs to verify minimum age requirement is met by each guest, escorting private parties to their reserved area, and keeping the entrance secure and clean/organized. You must complete all necessary certifications to fulfill this position.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required: Must have current Security License and ABC Card. Must have current knowledge of ABC laws and thorough understanding of acceptable forms of ID. Must be able to lift at least 50lbs. Must have 2 years prior experience working security and/or checking IDs

Preferred: High school graduate or GED. Previous hospitality experience a plus.

PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the restaurant. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must have a manual dexterity and coordination to operate restaurant and office equipment and machines. Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations. Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
