Operations Manager Disaster Restoration
Quality First Builders, LLC/QFB Restoration has been one of the top property restoration companies in central Florida since 1992. QFB provides restoration services to local home and business owners who have suffered property damage resulting from water, fire, mold, wind, or other catastrophic related events. QFB is seeking an Operations Manager with experience overseeing and leading a team of restoration professionals with a focus on increasing production efficiency, completing projects on time, maintaining budgets, and exceeding customer’s expectations.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Supervise and lead a team of 15+ employees
Assist with recruiting, onboarding, training and mentoring
Provide expert advice, continuous support, and motivation to the team
Oversee scheduling of projects, delivery of services, and compliance
Conduct production meetings, review financial reports, and perform site inspections
Create and review scopes of work for accuracy and profitability
Actively monitor job costs and receivables
Maintain a "big picture" strategic view with an ability to solve problems
Review and translate policies into daily routine operations
Participate in “On Call” rotation program
Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years of experience in construction management
Broad business experience across multiple functions: Sales, Operations, Administration, Accounting, and Human Resources
Proficient in Xactimate software
Knowledge of Symbility, Time & Materials, Dash, and other industry related software is preferred
Experience with preferred vendor programs (Alacrity, Contractor Connection, Nexxus, Sedgwick, etc.)
Knowledge of construction and understanding of building code
Strong writing and communication abilities
Ability to analyze financial reports and use the information to efficiently manage operations
Flexible schedule to support team, especially during CAT events such as hurricanes
Must have reliable means of transportation
IICRC certifications preferred
Spanish language skills are helpful, but not required
Must pass background and drug tests and carry acceptable driving record

Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED
Bachelor’s degree in construction, business, or similar major is preferred
10+ years related experience
