We are offering a salary structure for this position that includes a salary base along with commission opportunity for jobs sold.

    Job Duties & Responsibilities:

    Inspect 12-15 reconstruction and/or mitigation projects

    Write estimates for 12-15 projects each week abiding by QFB and client standards

    Ability to sell and sign up work.

    Assist with managing reconstruction projects for the company from time to time

    Inspect rooms, roofs, attics, crawl spaces, etc. and possess the ability to lift 75 pounds

    Negotiate contracts with the home/business owners and insurance adjusters and address any discrepancies with the scope within 24 hours

    Determine the cause of loss and likelihood of insurance coverage communicating issues to upper management, insurance adjusters and owners as needed

    Communicate the progress of each project to staff members, adjusters and homeowners via email, text message and project management software (Dash)

    Update Dash, Phoenix, TradesPlus, XactAnalysis and any other client platforms

    Utilize company adopted application for photo documentation, contracts and other e-forms (Encircle and Dash)

    Expand insurance adjuster and subcontractor database by soliciting additional work from our clients regularly

    Update job progress in the Management System with detailed notes per client and company’s guidelines

    Participate in on call rotation with other Estimators within the company (once every 3 months depending on number of estimators.).

    Attend scheduled monthly and weekly company meetings

    Ability to communicate effectively in a team-oriented culture

    Work with and support Business Development Manager (BDM) in company marketing/sales efforts. Provide feedback to Business Development Manager for follow-up on new prospects.

    Inform Business Development Manager on possible insurance claims heard about in the paper or other news media.

    Promote job safety.

    Skills & Qualifications

    Construction knowledge required

    Detail oriented and ability to multi-task

    Clear and concise written and verbal skills

    Ability to interact well with peers, adjusters and property owners

    Computer literate and ability to operate a mobile device

    Proficient writing Xactimate estimates is required and Symbility experience a plus

    IICRC certifications: carpet cleaning, water, mold, fire, bio, etc. is preferred

    Must have reliable transportation

    Ability to sell jobs is preferred

    Pass background, drug test and possess acceptable driving records

    General project management skills: attention to detail, ability to show leadership, have accountability, communicate timely, solve problems, self-motivate, create and maintain schedules, multitask, and organized within Quality First Builders standards.

    Calm demeanor when dealing with team members, TPA’s, adjusters and clients

    Education and/or Experience

    Bachelor’s degree in Management or construction related field

    Minimum of five years of experience managing residential and commercial disaster restoration projects, or any equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Knowledge of Uniform and Building Codes and Standards.
