QGenda is a fast growing Atlanta-based healthcare software company, with an amazing corporate culture, where we strive to be the best place to be a customer. Our software is used by thousands of hospital departments around the world to automatically generate the most optimized physician work schedules to accommodate complex business rules and accurately schedule the appropriate medical provider based on their skill level, specialty, availability, and preferences.

In your role as a Software Engineering Intern you will be integrated into our full-stack Development team, learning about real-world technologies and processes, while implementing changes, bug fixes, and new features to our web application.  We're looking for candidates who thrive in team environments, and who have a hunger for using exciting technologies and solving challenging problems.  Our scrum team works in two week sprints and has a strong track record of meeting sprint commitments.  If tackling these kinds of challenges sounds interesting, we'd love to talk to you!

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work on a Scrum team and participate in all aspects of the development process - we strongly believe in giving our Interns an enriching experience that treats them as team members, devoid of menial tasks
• Develop new features and make modifications to existing features

REQUIREMENTS

• Student majoring in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline
• Minimum 1 year of coursework with a 3.0 or higher GPA
• Relevant coursework and projects utilizing an advanced IDE
• Academic understanding of Object Oriented Programming, Unit Tests, Algorithms, and Big O
• Any experience with Agile development processes, HTML5, CSS, SQL, Javascript, React/Redux, C#, and/or .NET is a plus
• Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication skills and upbeat personality
