    Job Description

    Business Development Representative (Inland Empire)

    Looking for an enthusiastic sales representative to grow our business in the San Bernardino and Riverside Counties!  Minimum 1 year experience in the following:  B2B, Outside Sales, Door to Door, Cold Calls.  Position is approximately 70% field time and 30% office time.  Experience in 3PL/warehousing and staffing industry a plus.

     

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Research and follows new/referred leads to acquire new business for the staffing agency, primarily through door-to-door cold calling.

    • Create presentations highlighting QHL Staffing services for prospects.

    • Successfully close sales.

    • Works toward exceeding quotas set by Manager.

    • Maintains contract and communication with existing clients to obtain more business from them.

    • Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.

    • Adjusts content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet or trade factor.

    • Focuses sales efforts by studying existing trends.

    • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.

    • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information.

    • Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.

    • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

    • Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.

    • Performs other relevant duties when needed.
