Job Title: QUALITY TECHNICIAN

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND REQUIREMENTS:FIRST AND LAST PIECE SAMPLE BUYOFF FOR PROTOTYPE AND PRODUCTION.

• Data collection
• In process review of check fixtures.
• Training operators and general labor in part quality requirements.
• Dock audits and receiving inspection.
• Verification that proper packaging is used in production.
• Creating rework and sort work orders.
• Prepare reports and gather data per direction of the Metrology Coordinator.

SKILLS REQUIRED TO PERFORM THE ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF THE JOB:DEMONSTRATED KNOWLEDGE OF CUSTOMER QUALITY REQUIREMENTS.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Computer literate.
• Able to use calipers and micrometers.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Technical School training preferred.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO PERFORM THE DUTIES OF THE JOB:HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR GED

PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL REQUIREMENTS TO PERFORM THE ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF THE JOB:ABILITY TO LIFT 35 POUNDS REPEATEDLY

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist and sit for 3-4 hours
• Ability to multi task

LICENSING OR OTHER SPECIAL CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED:CMM SOFTWARE TRAINING CERTIFICATES A PLUS
