Job Summary
We are looking for fun, energetic, and knowledgeable coaches that consistently deliver support, positivity, inspiration and kick ass workouts. Our team has searched the nation to find the best programming available for our athletes, and now we are looking for coaches that can match it. We are striving to be the best barbell-based class Nashville has to offer, bringing more knowledge than anyone else around.
Responsibilities
Correct, teach, demonstrate, and push our athletes every day to help them achieve their goals
Coach in a way that increases body movement awareness and performance, prevents injury and produces outstanding results
Always be engaged and ready to both teach and learn
Meeting with Prospective Clients
Stimulate social media interaction that aligns with our team values and vision
Integrate yourself into our fitness community, and jump into other coach's classes
Communicate class feedback and findings to leadership for further business improvement
Skills/Requirements
Knowledge: power lifting, Olympic lifts, movement correction, matching movements to client skill levels, and weak point diagnosis
Certifications: Olympic WL Cert and/or CPT with Olympic lifting knowledge (Other valued certifications: Kettlebell, FMS, CSCS, CrossFit, USA weightlifting)
Coaching: Command of room, fun, inspiring, humble, detail oriented, technical exercise knowledge, basic workout program design knowledge
Communication: Listening, clear and concise, friendly, confident, open minded, respectful
Member Service: Well-kept appearance, organized, assertive, detail oriented, empathetic, multitasker, people oriented, problem solver, and self-controlled
Application Process
Potential candidates meet with our Head Coach Ryan Rushing, serving as a practical for 1-3 sessions, including lifting and corrective action evaluation.
