Position: Marketing Specialist
Description: Full Time, 40 hrs/week

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Marketing Specialist helps to develop, execute, and monitor marketing programs across a variety of channels. Work includes researching the market, analyzing trends to help define the organization's marketing strategy, and designing graphics and collateral to support business initiatives. The Marketing Specialist reports to VP of Marketing and Communications.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with other internal teams to develop and monitor strategic marketing initiatives
- Write, design and execute social/digital strategies across company’s media channels
- Maintain a daily presence on social media and be at the forefront of engaging industry conversations
- Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify new marketing opportunities
- Update company’s website with new content and images as needed
- Utilize SEO concepts and tools (ie. Google Analytics) for effective content and reach
- Review KPIs on a daily, weekly and monthly basis by channel
- Support and promote company webinars and podcasts
- Develop and create marketing materials, such as product collateral, and ensure brand guidelines are met (PowerPoint Presentations, Flyers, Business Forms, Proposals, etc.)
- Assist with client marketing deliverables including collateral, social media content and marketing analytics
- Select colors, fonts, photographs, layouts and design elements to communicate creative concepts
- Perform and assume additional duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree with minimum 2- 4 applicable years’ experience
- Knowledge of color, composition, typography, digital design and production management
- Excellent written communication skills for press releases, blogs, and social media marketing
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools
- Knowledge of website development and design
- Knowledge of digital marketing current practices and understanding of digital production processes
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, time-management skills, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

WORKING CONDITIONS
- Works in well-lighted/ventilated office
- Sitting, standing, and moving intermittently during working hours
- Subject to frequent interruptions
- Willingness to work beyond normal working hours, including travel and attending events
