Job Description

PRIMARY PURPOSE: The primary purpose of this position is to maintain the network, antivirus software, e-mail system and printers used throughout the facility.  Also, install and maintain personal computers and create/modify programs while maintaining the database.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

·       Support the organization with computer problem solving.

·       Maintain overall system performance.

·       Maintain organizational network.

·       Maintain e-mail system on organizational network and online.

·       Perform preventative and corrective maintenance to networked and standalone printers.

·       Provide network setup.

·       Provide manufacturing computer support by observing computer operations and developing with solutions.

·       Provide technical computer training for plant personnel.

·       Maintain file backup system.

·       Maintain antivirus server and clients.

·       Responsible for the phone, voice mail and e-mail systems.

·       Responsible for finding vendors to assist with projects and work tasks for Systems issues as needed.

  EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

 AA degree in computer science, computer repair, and/or three (3) years relevant experience with a technical discipline. 

REQUIRED SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:

·       SQL Server administration experience.

·       Microsoft Office 365

·       Knowledge and ability to apply equipment and computer system design.

·       Knowledge of the network, antivirus software and printers.

·       Knowledge of e-mail server and client installation experience.

·       Knowledge of the facility telephone, voice mail and internet connectivity.

·       Excellent problem solving skills

·       Excellent communication skills.

·       Knowledge of computer repair.

·       Ability to apply quality system concepts to their functions.

·       Knowledge of safety requirements.

 DESIRED SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:

·       SQL server administration experience.

Office environment with exposure to manufacturing and/or maintenance facilities.  Ability to lift 50 lbs.  Clean room attire provided as needed.  Hearing protection provided as needed – when exposed to manufacturing facility.  Safety glasses provided.  Exposure to standing on concrete floor in manufacturing/imprinting departments.  Exposure to prolonged periods of loud noise.  Clean room attire provided.  Hearing protection will default to the company policy based upon location.

Job requires that employee be on call 24/7/365.
